Berlin High Interact Club Honored by New Britain Salvation Army

The Berlin High School Interact Club was recently honored by the New Britain Salvation Army att he 6th annual Reocognition Dinner held at the Hawthorne In in Berlin. They received the award for their work in assisting with the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen and the Slavation army Bell Ringing during the Christmas season.   Alex Bedanark, President of Interact, remarked "that there is no greater feeling  than helping those in need".  He stated "Whether folks are truly incappable of getting a warm meal or they just want some friendly company down at the Slavation Army, we are always happy to see the pleasant faces of appreciation."  Majors Dora And Wilder Garcia presented the awards to the young recipeints.  Major Wilder Garcia commented that he was touched by their enthuusiasm in helping and truly grateful that Interact was there to supported the Salvation Army i mission in the New Britain community.
